Marine beta's?

Are they reef safe? From what i hear if yoiu add them last they will leave your shrimp alone. I have plenty of caves for it and i think it would be a good addition to my tank. I have a few hermits and a few snails but cleaning is mostly my part. Do you think a marine beta would be ok?

From what I've read they are a predator and will try to eat anything they can get their mouth over. That includes small fish and shrimp.

My betta is the center piece of my 75. They are very beautiful and I have many shrimp in with it. They were supposed to be its food but it isn't a very good hunter. They don't come out very much but you can always see them sticking there head out. They hunt and act like an eel. If I had to do it again i would still buy one. Great fish.

I've heard they're rather shy, but it would be a good risk to take if you like them. Definitely more interesting than a couple shrimp in my opinion.
