Marine Betta

I have a Marine Betta, either him or my CB shrimp is killing my skunk cleaner shrimps...which one is the culprit? or both....

If the marine betta was killing them I seriously doubt you would find any thing . it would most likely swallow them whole. I would say the Coral banded is the culprit!

They come up MIA so it may very well be him. I really don't want to part with him....

i was always told the marine bettas were not reef safe and would eat your inverts. i would have to look into this as i am not 100% sure but if that is the case i would say the betta. my CB shrimp's have never killed any other shrimps i have housed with them. this has been in multiple tanks and many different shrimp. so i would say the betta is the one killing them.

Looks like I have to decide between the two. He ate a XL cleaner possibly so I am outta luck with that.

ive never had them eat cleaners before and my cleaners would take little rides on my bettas every now and then. CB on the other hand will never tollerate other shrimp. i tried peppermints even and he didnt like them either.

Ay! Wana trade Bettas? lol! What to do, moving his tank, so I have a chance to remove him or the CB or both....

i would remove the CB but thats just my opinion really.

CB is gone no matter, just do want to buy spendy food for the Betta...
