anyone have marine betta? would it be fine in a 2x2x3 tank (75 gallon)

would he kill a firefish/clowns? general opinions needed thanks!

Ive seen them in pet stores...thinking about one myself. Kinda shy, but gorgeous fish. It would be fine in a 75. Think of it as a slower panther grouper....itll eat any fish it can fit in its mouth

I have one eating small size pellets, very peaceful, not an active swimmer. It tends to stay around in one place, especially under overhang. I have it with 1 cleaner and 2 bloodfire shrimps, a small clown, wrasses and tangs in a 150g tank.

I would say 75g is good enough 'cause it's not an active swimmer.

2'x2'x3' is LxWxH?

How big are your clowns? He'd probably leave them alone but would eat your firefish. Bettas confuse live prey by using their tail and hind fins to corner and confuse it...very cool to see. A reef safe fish in that it won't bother corals but small fish and inverts are fair game.

pretty greceful and peaceful fish ive had mine since i started this hobby 10 yrs ago mine was very very shy and timid for the 1st few months and would only eat live foods than slowly adjusted and till this day he is still pretty shy compared to a normal fish he is very inactive and only ocassionally swims in front of the tank to get from cave to cave i feed mine large floating pellets from new life spectrum and he feeds from my hands hes in a full blown reef with alot of pepemint shrimps and a few cleaners and smaller sized fish i have never had a problem with him bothering or eating any of them great and very hardy fish also long lived fish
