Marine Depot Walk ins?

Hey do you guys know if they allow walk ins or do we need a license to go in and purchase things?

I think you have to order a few hours ahead before picking it up. They will not accept walk-ins.

they dont have walkins on weekends either.. and no mondays if i remember

They charge tax as well on walk-ins. No tax if they ship it to you even if you are local

I just came back from Vivid Aquariums, prices are not what I expected for a warehouse.... 12.99 for a Occ. Clown 16.99 for a six line wrasse....I can keep on going.

But they do have some plumbing items that Id need to drive all the way to MD.

Just wanted to clarify that you do not need to make an appointment to visit Vivid Aquariums. Here are our store hours:

Tuesday: 11am - 7pm
Thursday: 11am - 7pm
Friday: 11am - 6pm
Saturday: 11am - 4pm
Sunday: 11am-4pm

We are closed Mondays and Wednesdays for shipping.

I don't think MD live allows any pickup, at least they didn't a while back. As far as dry goods at MD I've done walkins before without calling to place an order...its been a while tho.

I've done walk-ins ("will call") with MD about 1 week ago. They ask for a 2 hour to process the order. Will charge tax. Not sure about the monday thing, but no pickup on the weekends. You can order online, make a note that you will pick up at will call window though.

I figure if you only wanted bulkheads, that LFS that sells tanks should have some, it's not much cheaper at MD for these things - your gas alone will make it cost more.
