I believe this is a fairly new product and is only currently being offered in the east coast I believe. Anyone here have one of these guys would like to share their experience with it? Maybe some pics? I wanted to pick one up but unfortunately they are not currently available for sale in the west coast.........yet. Here is a link for those who don't know about these tanks. They come in some great sizes and you have the option of having a built in overflow.

I just helped my mother set up one of the 70gal cubes. (30"W x 30"D x 18"H) for some discus. I really think that the build quality on her's was great. The seams are really well done and the sizes are great. Her's, if overflowed, would be great for clams in my opinion.

I like them enough to consider selling my Oceanic 30 cube that I customized with an overflow to buy either the 60 or 70 cube as a frag grow out tank.

I'm going to pick one up as soon as they are available in my area. In the meantime, I'm planning on making a stand and canopy for the tank.

Would you be able to tell me if the tank measures 30"x30" from the plastic perimeter trim or is the measurement taken from the glass? It appears that the trim is roughly 1/4"-1/2" thick.

Those look awesome. I love my Oceanic 30g cube I have now and the only thing that would make it better is a built in overflow like those have!

She lives a few hours away from me, but I might be able to call her this evening and see if she can clarify the dimensions. I'll post when I hear something.

Actually I had the back of mine drilled, then had a custom overflow box made for it. The returns come through the back glass as well and have a set of Loc Line on both sides of the overflow box. Its plumbed up from a Pan World pump to a SCWD, and flow alternates from side to side. I also had a custom sump made that would fit a Euro Reef rs80 skimmer.

Thanks reefknight....the info will be greatly appreciated.

The glass measures at 29" side to side and back to back. The trim strip measures out at 30". So the measurements they are listing are trim dimensions. If I get a few minutes later this evening I'll post a couple of photos that I took with my iphone. They're not the best in the world but pic's none the less.

The stand measures 32" side to side and 31" front to back, 26" in height. Just in case you were interested.

Here are the pic's that I took while setting it up. She didn't have any of her decor just yet, so it pretty plain. Pic's are the best as they were taken with my iPhone.

No problem, glad to help. When you get the aquarium stand going, let me know. I would love to see pic's. I am seriously considering letting my 30 cube go for one of these.
