market value of 58G Oceanic?

Please help me estimate a fair market value of a 58G tank with matching solid-wood stand and canopy. I'd like to put it up for sale on craigslist, unless one of you are interested.

1. 58G reef-ready (drilled overflow) Oceanic glass tank: good condition, silicone is still soft
2. matching stand with no center brace (by design): in good shape
3. matching canopy: top of lid could use new paint and new hinges

I was thinking $250 may be fair.

The seeming discoloration of the wood is just an artifact of flash photography.

For used gear of this sort, you are lucky to get 50% of new price. More often get 25-30% of new price.

Thanks. It seems these are not made/sold anymore, so it's hard to estimate their price.

Any thoughts on how much these cost, new? I got them used a decade ago, and I don't remember how much I paid.

I think your best bet is to look at the RC sale section and do a search. looking through a few threads, you can see what price they sell at and what price they don't. Good luck!

Looked at those F/S posts. The "value" seems to vary greatly.

I'm gonna start at $200/OBO and see what I kind of response I get.
