Maroon Breeding...

okay, so i have a 20 gallon reef tank with 2 large condylactis anemone...

i ahve 2 yellow striped maroon clown...
1 bigger than the other so i know ones a female and ones a male..

but inside the tank i also have... 4 green chromis..

and 2 blue yellowtail damsels..

i was wondering..

will my clownfish breed?? they do host the 2 anemones.. people say they wouldn't but they were wrong..

will they breed in my anemones.. and will they breed with the annoyance of other fish? or do i have to take out the other fish....

I have read (Clownfishes by Joyce Wilkensen) that damsels will usually bother clowns and keep them too bothered to spawn, but have no experience. My Gold Striped Maroon pair is in a tank by themselves.

It's just my opinion - but you seem pretty heavily overstocked to begin with. So - if you're hoping that your GSM pair will spawn - take the other fish out
