Maroon Clown and other fish

I was thinking of getting a single white stripe maroon clown.
I already have 2 tangs, mandrin and other misc fish (going to get rid of my other clowns.

Will the clown attack the tangs??

I have a tomato clown now - it just chases the other clowns, leaves everthing else alone.

Get rid of the tomato if you want a peacefull tank. Maroon's can bee a little aggro too. Try a perculla instead, I have two and they are great.

I have a gold banded marron clown about 5 inches.

He / She likes to hang out with the enginer (spellling?) gobies
hates other clowns.

I have two maroons, started with one. they were the first in the tank, then i added a tang. they get along really well. Ill be adding a mandrin in the next month or two.

Id say you should be ok, as long as you get rid of ALL other clowns

I think I am going to try to small maroons
After I get rid of my other clowns.
I also have 2 medium tangs Yellow and Purple
this is in a 120gal tank

I'd think long term here. Tangs and maroons can be aggressive as they get older.

Id get one medium and one really small maroon if i were you. Its alot easier to get them to not fight

or buy two juvenile maroons from a tank at the lfs that has lots in there try and get one of the bigger one and one of the smaller ones

I donno. I did that, and for some reason I ended up with 2 females that just wouldent stop fighting. Had to return one.. and waited 4 months looking for a juvi. boy was I happy when i walked into my lfs one day and they had almost 15 juvis. that was a good day

i would bet tourkid yours was an odd experience and had you taken two of those 15 juvis home they would have paired. just a thought.
there is no way to know what exactly will happen i guess
