Maroon Clown white spot

Anybody have a clue what this is? or a point in the right direction.

The white spot on the body sticks out a little bit.
The where the fin touches the white spot on her body, it made the fin turn white and a little transparent.

I had her 5+ years with no new fish or coral added within the last 8 months.

I have been dealing with low alk and started adding a little more ESV Part I lately. Calcium and Mag are on the high side.
All other water parameters are good.

Probably just Lymphocystis; although I wouldn't completely rule out an infection of some sort.

Either way, the best thing you can do for her right now is step up your WCs (clean water), and start soaking her food in vitamin supplements (i.e. Selcon, Zoecon, Vita-chem) to give the ol' immune system a boost.

My gold stripe maroon had a very similar issue except it was the area right behind her gill. I treated her for bacterial infection and by at the end of the 1st week of treatment she was all healed up.

What product did you use for the bacterial infection?

Uneventful update: Spot on side of fish disappeared today. White spot on fin healing up and almost back to normal color.

Thanks for the help.
