Maroon clown

I find these guys irresistible, and want to get one.

Would they be suitable in a 5g tank? (some clownfish can be in a 5)

Or would he be ok in a 10g with a scooter blenny, camel shrimp, and CUC?

No and No. Maroons can get 6". I would say nothing smaller than a 40 gal. for a single maroon IMO. maybe a occ clown in the 10.

Very territorial fish. A small one may be ok in a 10 gal by itself for a while, but will out grow it. A scooter blenny would quickly starve in a 5 or 10 gal due to its food source of copepods would deplete quickly. A few small blue leg or red leg crabs and a few snails should work for a cuc. I'd go with a couple of astrea snails.

I already have the scooter, which is why I asked (been trying to find a local reefer for him, none)

And alright, I was not aware that they grew that large.

I have an OCC. in the 10, but I would have switched him to another tank.
