Maroon clowns

I posted this in the October frag swap thread but only got one taker so I will try this.

Well I came to a decision there seems to be a problem with my baby clowns not that they seem to notice but I really don't think I can sell them. There are a dozen or so that have some kind of deformity of the mouth. What I am looking for is some people to adopt them and give them a good home. I just don't have the heart to well you know. If no one wants them I will just set up the 75 I have and put them all in there I guess.

THERE FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he thinks you want money, and after that smart remark about the tape in my sump thread, I think you should charge him lots!

Hens4Fish,

You of course know that once they are seperated from the "mother of a pack" that Mako has, Maroon Clowns will not tolerater their own species very long, and they will start to fight to the eventual death.... When they are in the "pack" the fighting and the jabs are spread around pretty much evenly... Mike could probably shed more light on that...

Hey Jason,
I did not know that, thanks for the insight. I was wondering about it, but thought I would ask mike when I went.

People say all they do is fight and that could be the way it is all I can say is my son took two of them for his 120 and they are happy. I know that doesn't mean thats the way it works either but there free and its worth a try would be nice to find out if it is really true or not.

Hens4Fish,

I am home untill 5:00 today and then off to work if that would work for you cool. No rush though they don't seem to be flying out of my tank  . I will save a couple for ya.

Mine are not that big the female is like maybe 4" and the male is only 2" I would guess. they are four or five years old now. I would say the bigger babies are about 1 1/2" and they are close to a year old.

Come and getem

Cool, thanks mako.

Hens, if you haven't left yet.... buddy.... would you mind picking up a small one for me?

Well its quite a hike for you but here it is they are free so it is worth it.

Here are the directions:

If you are coming through Green Bay you would take 43 south to 57-54 north to Sturgeon Bay-Algoma. 54 branches off to Algoma about 5 miles or so out of Green Bay which would be 54 east take that all the way to Algoma, 54 ends and you turn left on 42 north right through beautiful downtown Algoma stay on that for 3.3 miles and you will come to the first crossroad from Algoma turn right this is Washington Road go down this road for 1.2 miles and you come to a four way stop turn right here again this is Wolf River Drive and go .3 miles turn left and you are in my driveway little house big garage you can't miss it. Or you could come up 42 through Kewaunee I took the mileage stuff starting at the intersection of 42-57 Mobil - Mc Donald's on the corner in Algoma. My phone # is 920-487-2702 in case you can't find it.

Algoma is prob. one of my fav. towns in this area of WI, wish I could talk the wife into moving there.

Hens is going to pick-up one of these for me also. If you could set me up with a small/friendly male that would be great. Thanks.

Hey Mike,
Wow, it is a long drive. I thought it was the town of algoma(about 5 min from here.) My wife says I don't have time to do that today, with it being a 2 hour drive one way and all. Maybe next weekend or something. Also, sorry to scott. Thought it would work today....oh well. Good luck and I hope to get a couple of those guys sometime.
Bill
