maroon eating anemone tenticals

what does it mean when the clown eats the tenticals of my anemone. what can i do for it to stop.

Mine does the same, and from what I've heard it's perfectly normal. I don't think they're supposed to actually "eat" the tentacles, though. Mine generally seems to just suck on them from time to time, though she will on rare occasions actually bite off the tip of one, but then just spits it out. There are some theories floating around that it may be one of they ways they're able to resist the anemone stings.

well mine are literally biting the tentacal of. i fear that this will affect my anemone's health. i'll post a picture tommorow
