Maroon Floating

Morning All. In my reef tank, my maroon clown is floating at the top. No, he's not dead. He looks like he's trying to swim, but it gets him no where and he just kinda floats with the current. Every now and then, he will get a jolt of energy and will swim to the bottom, but then return to the top. He ate fine last time I fed the tank ( Thursday night). Any ideas or opinions of what might be wrong with him will greatly be appreciated

I had hoped someone would have replied to you by now. They still might.

My guesses include either air in the fish's system or swim bladder problem(s).
