Maroon in torch but want in Haddoni

Hi,

I have a small white banded Maroon for 2 weeks now and he has taken a liking to like one of my torch corals.

I have a Green Haddoni and was really hoping the Maroon would make this his home but I only saw the Maroon in the Haddoni one morning.

I am worried the Maroon will eventually bother the torch to much and cause it to die then move on to another torch.

Do I need to have more patience to get the Marron to move to the Haddoni or should I try and remove the maroon? I know the Haddoni is not its native Haddoni anemone and I might have to get a different clown but I really wanted a maroon.

Maroons typically don't go into carpets they usually prefer bta and maybe ltas all in all they're going to go what they find suitable it may upset corals since maroons can be overly aggressive with what is hosting them

Had a gold strip maroon kill a green bubble years ago. Bubble would open less and less each day. I tried catching that thing for weeks and finally gave up. about a month after I lost the coral, I was feeding the tank some brine and the clown jumped into the brine net!

Maroons are rough on things to begin with. I don't think I have ever seen a picture with a maroon being hosted by haddoni. It will eventually bug your torch to death. as a side note if anyone has this combo maroon & haddoni please post a picture.

Thanks for the advise I was able to get the maroon out of the tank. I did try moving the torch but he just went in another torch.

What Clown do you recommend that would host the Haddoni and not go into my other LPS corals?

Clarkii is a natural from what I understand but they will also go in a BTA so I was thinking they may go in the torch again over the Haddoni?

The Percula and Ocellaris seem to host carpets but I did have one of these (can't recall what type) in my old tank with LPS and they bothered the coral but I didn't have a carpet at the time.

My Maroons took to the Haddoni within a day. The Haddoni also ate the smaller male the second day. Added another small male which the female eventually accepted. Added a BTA (natural symbiant) after they paired and they left the Haddoni within minutes for the BTA. Have not been back to the Haddoni since. I'd remove the torch.
