Maroon or Tomato?

Here they are in their bag yesterday. I'll try to take a better picture soon.

Good choice. My GSM pair have been laying eggs since December, and still haven't got aggressive with me or other fish. They have 3 BTA's , but are model citizens. My other female(which is going to a new home this coming weekend), would not leave me alone. Never drew blood, and lived happily with a Occy, but was brutal to me, is getting replaced with a group of Occys. Your GSM's should be hosted JUMP, by the BTA. Your gonna love them.

Wow! The larger one is already a really good size and must be very young then.

Is it too early for one of them to have become female? The bigger one is really starting to monitor the little one's activites and gets pretty assertive when he steps out of line.

I'm glad I went with the maroons. They are really fun to watch.

The big one might already be female, at least more so than the other one. It's a gradual hormonal change, so the big one is probably "more female" than the little one. They really are great to watch

They have decided that instead of the caves in the rock I have set up for them, that they would rather hang out by a powerhead...

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could persuade them to find a new place? The larger one (maybe already the female) still explores some, but the little one stays there all the time and she doesn't seem to like him going very far.
