Maroun 340G Build Thread

This looks sweet! If I was building a new house I would incorporate a fish tank into the planning as well. For the overflow I would suggest either cutting holes in the tank for the overflow or cutting groves/notches... if you can't get anyone to do it for you I would drill/cut them myself. I am currently doing a 72x30x39H and am picking up my tank tomorrow. I hope to have fish in it by September. This build makes me want to sell my house so I can build one with a built in tank. I look forward to watching your build and seeing it develop. Do you have a good source for dry/live rock? Or are you going to make it yourself?

Thanks.
Not really into fish bu might have a separate fish tank in the future in the house entrance, bedroom...
I can have holes cut in the side glass and make a shallow overflow box from the inside and another one from outside with Bulkheads in side it. its the groves in the glass that can't be done here. Not sure which is eaiser to hide Shallow overflow or the internal one as the shallow one will be much higher and rockwork won't go as high.
I have a decent amount of LR in my 150 G tank whish will be transferred into the 340. also the 340 will be on the minimalistic side so no need for much more LR. I can also get good quality LR if needed.
