that ornamental red algae would be a good snack for a tang, I'm going to top out your $150 budget and suggest a purple tang. Looks like your tank is 4' wide? This tang won't feel cramped in or overgrow the shorter tank and not as spaz a swimmer as some (they got Dori right in finding Nemo, LOL).

Tangs it's not as much the water volume as the length that they can swim from end to end.

Mimic Lemon Peel Tangs are nice too, they mimic yellow angels

For that size tank a tomini tang would be perfect. One of the best algae control methods I use lol
