Sounds good.

No Gresham, ey?

I may come along. Randy is our public speaker but if everyone has their way (besides me) I'll be doing them very soon. I just hate doing public speaking though, but I guess it's time to get ove the lame high school fear

hey gresh, you coming up for the meeting? still got your reflectors and that frag if you still want to trade for it.

i gotta plan accordingly :)

I just confirmed with Randy - they will be here!

Also, Randy has asked if any reefers wanted to open their homes up to a Saturday AM tank tour. They are heading to Marysville at about 11, so something earlier than that would be great. They can bribe you with some of their product line. :D

Dang I'm going to have to miss my first meeting, I'm going to be in Seattle. I joined at the frag swap which was great btw!

Someone do me a favor and ask if he has heard of the Italian Blue Coral method, or 'pappone':

I'd be interested to hear what he thinks of it.

He hasn't. The question would be differred to me and I would be put on the spot to speak my mind about the effects of feezing stuff (bursted cell membranes, etc) and how it degrades the over all quality of the feed. Some things can be frozen just fine, others can't. I'm also not a big fan of HGH in general so all in all I am not a Pappone fan. Other then HGH Pappone is no different then any of the mash blends that people have been making for a long time. They work great for feeding fish and LPS but SPS are a different story.

One very large drawback Papponne has is particle size. You really have to blend it quite well to get the particle size down small enough to effectivelly feed SPS. LPS are no problem, but SPS don't take in that large of particles. In fact, if the SPS grab a too large of particle and reject it, that results in a "net negative" for the corals energy budget.
