Martha's new friend

Well, the juvi/male I picked up for Martha last weekend tried to sneak out of his LTA and over to her BTA last night. I saw him go over there about 2 hours after lights out. He is still there this morning. Good sign. She used to go over and visit him in the LTA (she was spawning while hosting the LTA with her last mate) but she'd always go back to her BTA after a short visit to remind him that there is a dominant female in the tank that wants a mate.

It looks like he finally took the hint.

Thanks, The tank is looking pretty good. He has a bit more yellow but I suspect he'll color up as he matures. I'm actually a bit happier about this pairing, he's so much smaller than her that hopefully he'll be less inclined to turn on her. Her white bands have really darkened up as you can tell, don't know why.

Strangely enough her old mate is still in the sump and there is a small saddleback that can fit through the baffles but the clarkii can't. They are starting to seriously hang out together. That would be a strange pairing. Probably look like a sebae.... Not that it will happen just funny that they are getting along.
