After I moved, my foxface fell victim to a tragic rockslide in my newly setup tank. I purchased this rabbitfish a week and a half ago with the hopes that he would be okay in my reef. Unfortunately he has aquired the taste for mushrooms. Green striped seem to be his favorite, although he has tried my blue, too. My tank is very mixed to say the least, and he did not bother anything else. I could do without the mushrooms and keep the fish if I knew he wouldnt eat anything else, but as I knew when I bought him there are no guarantees. He truely is a beautiful fish and if I can talk the wife into setting up a FOWLR rather quickly I will keep him. I had a moment of opportunity tonight where he was chillin out in the corner under the moonlights so I took a stab a catching him. I slowly slid a piece of plexiglass down into the tank and managed to catch him completely off guard. He is currently residing in my sump. If anyone is interested I will sell him for $40. I paid $50 for him, but he is fatter and happier now then when I got him. I may drop the price after my wife shoots down the FOWLR, but for now I can use loosing the cost of the fish in the equation. Anyway, its late and I am rambling in my overwhelming joy that I caught this bugger so easily, when in reality, I had already excepted the fact that my mushrooms would all be eaten and I would have to tear my rockwork down to get him out. Please forgive my pictures, but here he is.
