Massive DIY rocks possible?

I'm building an 800g tank, and am looking to cut some costs by making some DIY rocks. Has anyone ever made really massive rocks with the concrete/aragonite method? I'm thinking 20" diameter boulder sized rocks. My main concern here is that it could take literally forever to cure being that thick, and most of the DIY rocks I've seen are pretty thin or small.

Anyone done it? Suggestions?

There is a guy with a video about making rock in the diy section. Maybe you'll have better luck over there.

you could make smaller rocks and then drill them and attach them with rods to make large rocks.
