Mated Pair of Gold Maroon Clown Fish

I have a mated pair of gold maroon clown fish that are too big for the green carpet anemone in the tank. I received the pair in a trade but had no idea that they were gonna love their nem to death. The trade came with the 2 clowns and the anemone but according to some pros in a previous thread on the forum, survey says the clowns are way too big. The recommendation is that I separate the clowns from the anemone for a while until the carpet fattens up a bit more. But I only have one tank. Here are a few pictures.
