Mated pair of true percs clowns

I just got a new pair of true percs a few days ago. The female clown did not make it. I believe she had an internal bacteria infection. The guy I got her from has agreed to replace her. I have the option of keeping the male clown I have or taking him back to get a new mated pair of clowns. Should I keep the male who appears healthy or try to get a new mated pair? I wasn't sure if I just picked out another female that I like that there wouldn't be any issues of them pairing up.

I would just get a new mated pair, that way you dont have to go through the whole pairing them up thing, which sometimes isnt that easy.
