Yesterday I noticed my clowns doing a lot of dancing where one was convulsing,last night I saw them joined at the mouth!!is this mating behavior or just playing around?.
How old are they? Sounds to me like they are young and or newly paired. They do that locking of the mouth in an effort to establish dominance. This type of behavior will likely continue until the stronger one will "wins" and takes on the female role of the pair. Keep an eye on them and make sure the "weaker" one has a place to retreat and hide. Good luck with them.
