Well aiptasia has taken over my tank so I decided to order a filefish online.received it today and thought to myself I don't recall even chucking if they were reef safe.live aquaria says they are reef safe with caution.will my zoas, trumpet coral, frogspawn, and green bubble tip anem. be okay? or is he gonna nip at them?any advice or input is appreciated!

I think it's kind of a crap-shoot. It may or may not eat aiptasia and as to your corals, you'll just have to wait and see. I would guess your zoanthids are most at risk.

Have had mine for over 2 years and along with a lot of peppermint shrimps cleared my tank of majanos and aiptasias. Mine nipped at scolys and lobos. It didn't bother my blasto, chalices, green leathers, gold hammer, and all my sps, and my tank is sps dominated. IMO it will decimate all zoos since they look too much like majanos.

He hasn't gone near any of my corals really at all and I feel like the aiptasia is starting to clear up alittle I also feed him a frozen krill and flake food daily.he doesn't seem to care as much for the flake food after I started giving him the meaty foods but he's doing fine in my tank and he'll stay as long as he isn't picking at any of my corals.

Mine was eating zoas (small frags) after it was done with the Aiptasia and Mojanos (in about 2 weeks). But then I made no special effort to feed it. With proper diet, I see not reason why it should bother corals.

Usually the ones who take a liking to majanos and aptasia have a taste for corals. I have 2, if I don't keep them full they will snack on lps

This would be my vote. Mine does not eat aiptasia but it also does not munch on corals (that I am aware of).
