Saw this beautiful Coral Beauty @ DD but cant seem to understand the price tag. http://www.liveaquaria.com/diversden/ItemDisplay.cfm?c=2733+3&ddid=158249 Can someone explain what makes this particular fish so valuable when they normally run around $30? I understand deep water species raises the expense as do some collection points/shipping cost but this just seems out of line to me or maybe I'm missing something.

The only thing that makes it expensive is the fact that it comes from Mauritius.
That particular specimen is not special, sometimes they come with special pattern on the tail.
Mauritius shipments are not really profitable, that's why you end up seeing the "regular" fish being sold as higher end fish.
