Just wanted to start a thread to see people's experience with these fish. I got one over two weeks ago from Pacific Island Aquatics, and he's doing awesome. He sleeps in the rubbermaid container full of sand and is eating almost everything I put in the tank. I don't think he likes the Rods Pacific Plankton, but he does devour PE Mysis and Rods Fish Only food.

Crappy pic of mine, I'll try to get a better one soon :)

I will try as you know they are FAST!but I can get a glimpse of them. Hey BT are you running copper? or just QT and watching for symptoms?

I'm not running copper in my QT tank with them unless something pops up where I need. These guys have been in the QT for 2.5 weeks now and went through a quinine sulfate treatment as well.

I've been debating on moving them to the DT but I'm gonna wait until I hear something back on my next purchase.

I just have one of the Jewel Leopards, but he's in the QT with 3 other fish (its a 40B and they are all small fish).

With the Jewel is a male Eightline flasher, Mitratus butterfly, and a baby blonde naso.

quinine is a good med for ich/odinium for sensitive fish such as leopards or other scaleless/soft bodied fish. And it is really easy to use because it is difficult to over medicate.!

Thanks guys. Mine came from Pacific Island Aquatics who sent me a solid fish. I'm very happy with him.
