maxi mini pico species tank

Can I keep several maxi minister in my 3 gal. Pico? I have a ac50 and a 20k par38. Can these be touching each other. I was thinking of a sexy shrimp trio and possibly a few mini minis. Does anyone have a species tank of these?

This is the current scape I am going with. I am trying to give maxi minis the most space on the sand bed as possible. I was also thinking of having some birdsnest or montipora on the bigger rocks.

Up until yesterday, I had a 16 inch by 6 inch by 6 inch tall, home made acrylic holding tank inside my 90 gallon with 27 maxi mini's in it. They bunch up real close together and stretch out like a trumpet fighting for space. But it should work.

There are a few at local shops around here. Saltwater paradise and A reef creation. Also search around on line, but they are not super cheap. Also check the for sale section on this board.
