Maxi Mini + power head?

I've got a maxi mini in a pico tank, and I'm thinking about shutting it down and putting the nem in my 12 gallon. Only hitch is, the 12 gallon has a power head. It's all the way at the top of the tank, not near any rock structures, so it's just a matter of whether the maxi mini would go for a stroll up the glass. Anybody have experience with this?

Never had one get into a power head.

Mine have never really moved around much. I have never had any even get close to the glass either. I have mine in a 40 with 2 mp10s.

Yeah, they don't really move around like BTAs and other nems that you worry about with powerheads.

i have 3 koralia 425 in my nanocube 24 and no problems when 3 of my maxis moved from the sand bed up onto the tops of my live rock. maxis seem a little tougher and meatier compared to btas so should be less likely to be sucked in by a powerhead. i even have mini carpets on my powerhead.

fine print though, unfortunately you never know.
