Maxi Mini Stung my Clownfish!

My two clownfish were nipping back and forth until one got pushed into the maxi mini. I could tell the clown got stung pretty badly because he swam out of it as fast as possible. Now he has sting marks on his body. Will he recover from this or will he most likely die?

It will recover. It will have welps on it, but will disappear in time.

Probably recover. I had 2 of my fish get eaten by those until I sold it lol

I have never had mine eat any fish...they are still small maxis about about 1.5" across...probably need a separate tank for them now.

I believe mini-maxi's belong to the same genus as Merten's, Haddon's anemone. These are some of the more potent anemone and notoriously will eat other fish. My Humu Humu trigger got very badly stung by my Haddons carpet, and is very slowly healing.
