Is there any tricks to getting these sticky little buggers to let go? I have one I placed wrong and he is on the move so I was hoping I could get him to detach with out damaging him and killing him.

They move on their own. You may not like him there but he does, and if you try to relocate him, he'll more than likely relocate again. Let him go until he settles.

So lets just say I want to move my maxi mini. Is there and tricks to moving them.......if he settles in the back of the tank I am going to move him. I have 2 others that are very happy where they are....I put this one in a different spot and hes on the move. So I want to put him with the other 2.

They will go where they want. You just got to move him.

I've never met an anemone that didn't want to get a move on when the flow was more than they liked. :dance:

IME, chiseling out the rock under them is the best way.

Ice cube around the foot, blow a power head at him until he lets go, or catch him while he's on the move

I found the easiest way to get mine to move was to put something that would sting them just to where they fully open up. I put my hammer right at that edge and after it couldn't open up for a day it moved.

I've found both of these techniques ineffective with tapetums for whatever reason. They close up when you put the cube on them, but don't seem to let go.
