I posted this a while ago... haven't heard of anybody making their own or purchasing the kits Lutz493 is producing. He's getting $24 shipped, you supply the original MJ 1200 housing.

When I get around to it I think I'll give it a try. They should work with a wavemaker as well as a MJ, where the others won't...

Dwayne did you try cutting the nozzles off? How did that work?

I did cut them off and the flow was amazing. The one thing I didn't like about it is that MJ's will reverse the flow everytime they are restarted. I think it would work good on a wavemaker with MJ's place in the center of the tank but when they are up against the glass in a corner then it tends to do a number on the sand.

If you look he posted his email in one of his own posts and it says "removed".... makes me think he got the boot. Unfortunate.

Because I read the thread that explained why he was banned. When you see "moved on" under someones name that means they have been banned.

FYI send the email to him. His kits work great. I bought and received four of them for two tanks & I am very pleased with them. He will respond to emails.

IMO it is still all about sponsorship no matter what you guys say. Big deal, the guy is a hobbyist just like the rest of us and he came up with a great idea and gets banned because people want it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with people selling stuff in the forums other then RC doesn't get anything out of it....
