I purchased mine from dhnguyen, it run me around $30+ and I had to ship him the impeller. Works excellent!

I tried contacting him about this and he said he is currently moving so he won't be able to do anything until he's finished with that. Otherwise I would've gone that same route also!! :D

It is top notch work. But you can now buy the slotted shroud and all the parts at mjmods.com. Not sure any tools really needed with the new mod method if you buy the parts there, but I haven't read that closely on the new method to be sure.

Stogie that's funny. So you are back in already? That was quick! Yeah, the Tunze was too heavy for my comfort on the Sea-Swirl and the MJs are easier to start/stop. If I decide to.

I need to sell my Chauvet now I'm not using it!

Just completed a 1.75" Dumas prop Mod. WOW!. I put that at the bottom of my 120 pointing up and it still pushed a 3/4" dome of water. I actually think it is too strong. I have tried something new with the slits. I leave the top of the shroud without openings to discourage cycloning, so far so good.

I just modded a maxijet 1200 with a dumas prop too. I have it in my 58, I'm pretty sure if I wanted I could turn my main pump off. I can't believe the flow! I have it pushing water across the front of the tank and it's swirling around the tank like a toilet.

I cant wait to do the other pump and get my 120 up and running.

G13- use the search tool on the upper lefthand side of the home page instead of the search button on the upper right side.

OMG I wish I would have known That!! I rarely use this board because I can never search. Now I can SWEET!!
