MaxiJet PH and Heat Pls Help

I added a MaxiJet 1200 to my 24 nano and now have heat issues. The tank temp has raised 3 degrees consistantly, and during the night with lights off too. My experiments have shown that the new PH is the culprit.

Is there another efficient PH that will increase the flow in my 24 AquaPod with less heat? Would a 900 or 600 be better?

Current occupants are:
1 Clove Polyps (Clavularia) Large Colony
1 Green Star Polyps (Pachyclavularia) Large Colony
1 Xenia Elongata Large Colony
Red Mushrooms
3 Colonies Various Zooanthids

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. I need to adress this problem today if possible!

MJ's are known for their low power consumption, versatility and endurance. IMO one of the better PH's.
.
as with any PH or electrical equipment you place "in" the water colum, check the "watts" of power being used. if it uses 25w, then its like adding the heat of a 25w light bulb.
good luck...
