Maxima & Aiptasia

I've had a healthy Maxima for almost a year now. It was not been opening for the last few days, and I notice some Aiptasia near it (close enough to touch), and a very small Aiptasia starting to sprout on the shell very near the lip. Can this be causing the closure, and if I zap the Aiptasia with Joe's Juice could that harm the clam?

i would try manually removing the aptasia ( the one on the clam ), i don't like using kalk or similar ( greatly dif. pH ) to close to the clam.

please list all your fish / inverts and water parameters, also post a picture of the clam.

Thanks, I maybe try and grab it with tweezers. My tankmates are above in my sig. I can try and snap a pic tonight.
