Maxima and T5 light

Hi - I have a 65G tall (36x18x24) with a Tek 6x39W T5 light with individual reflectors. I really would like a maxima in my tank but I am not sure I have enough light. I do have the ability to place it at various heights but most of my rock is 6" to 8" from the bottom. Is this possible?

so exactly how deep will the clam be placed from the light?

Anywhere from 12" below the light to 22" below the light. The light is about 6" above the water (so 6" below the water line to 16" below the water line).
