maxima clam under T5's??

im looking at getting a maxima clam and was wondering if it wold do ok under 96w of T5's. they are over a 20g long tank. What does everyone think?

mine is doing quite well under T-5s, as was the person I got him from. The main thing I would worry is if you can keep your calcium high enough in that small of a tank once he starts growing.

I was also wondering about this. Can you keep them under T5s in a 55 as well?

i keep one in a 24 inch deep 150 under 7 54watt t5s and have for a year and it is growing and doing great.

I have 3 maxima's and 1 derasa under 4 t'5's in a 21 inch deep 72 gallon bowfront. You shouldn't have a problem if you maintain your calcium levels.

any of the brown colored clams should be ok under t-5 for they dont need the intense lighting but yo brightly colored maximas need intense lighting. they are found higher up in the reef.
