I've read up on them and have gotten very little info except:
strong lighting and appropriate calcium levels.
I've been told they like on rock but read that they like sand bed?
Maximas require less light than a Crocea and are hardier. I people in my club that have kept them very successfully under T5's. Keep your Ca and Alk in check and you wont have a problem. They don't like a TON of flow, but moderate. You should see the mantle move with the water a little bit.
Well, I had mine for about a week and a half and this morning I got home from a meeting and it had fallen off the rock I had it on and was on it's side and something looked odd.
I took my feeder stick and bumped it gently and a an emerald crab ran out of the inside of the shell.
AGGGHHHHH!
Could the crab could have killed it or something else?
