maxima clam

so a lfs has a few really nice maxima clams. and now i wanna get my hands on one. But im running two 36 watt 50/50 pc's for lighting, on a 28 gallon cube. There really bright since my last tank was running the same watts but did not put out this much light. so my questions are will the clam be ok under this light ? will i have to put Her up high, close to the light ? or in the sand ok ? the tank is kinda deep around 17 inch i have a spot that i want to but her on the rock about 10 to 12 inches under my light

This is not sufficient light for a maxima clam, or any clam for that matter.

I prefer MH for clams. That clam would not make it in your system.
