Maxima detached

Hi All,
My Maxima has detached from its rock, it still looks pretty healthy (no obvious parasites, damage, or disease) but I have a few question.
Did it detach because it wasnt happy in its current position? If so what is the most likely reason.
I have put it back on another rock to allow it to re-attach, how long will it take and is there anything I can do to encourage it.

Sorry I should have said not much has changed recently:-
1. Tank is 25c
2. pH 8.3 Kh 8.6, Ca 430, Mg 1260
3. Salinity 1.024
4. Ive had it for about 6 months.
5. Its about 8" under my Kessil A350W on 50% and about a foot away from my MP10 on 30%

many reasons for detaching. you have listed some, but being picked at is another. they can reattach in a da,y a week, or never. put in the sand with some small rubble rock 1/2" below it. leave it for a week. you should be fine.

It could be nothing but in all honesty it is an indication of distress/weakness. Thats just about the " make it or break it" time frame. I believe clams do best and live longest in tanks that do not run carbon, carry nitrates between 1 - 2 ppm, and carbon/vodka or sugar dose.

My clown pushed my clam off the rocks so many times that the clam's shells separated. He's now by himself in a big poly tub with 1" sand, on his side, and he is sliding one shell past the other (like a sliding door) in order to open up.

Video?

Well I've got him back upright now in the poly tub, so other than faded colors he looks better. But he's still the only one in a 70g tub with sand. :)

Well I thought he was better. He laid back down and slid the shells apart again. But at least now the mantle is completely out, and is holding it's own against the green mushroom on it's bottom shell.
