Do maxima's feed different than deresa? I've noticed my maxima pumps or opens and shuts during feeding time. Sucking in water and spitting out. The Deresa never does this which leads me to believe it's not filter feeding the same. Both are growing fine. Any ideas?
i dont think they feed any different. i am not even sure that the pumping action with your maxima is related to feeding. if your clams are on the larger size they will be getting most of what they need to survive from the lights.
