MaxSpect Gyre XF150

I've read some great reviews about this. I'm considering doing 1 on my 180 build that will be running soon. Spoke to a guy running 1 on a 260g tank and he said it performs better then 2 mp40.....
for half the price it's got my attention!!!!!

Come on... someone buy one so we can see if it's worth it. Mike I know you are watching this. We are waiting for you to pull the trigger.

I saw it at macna. Sweeeeet little pump and it's fairly cheap for the amount of flow that comes out of it. It will make your whole tank move!

i was just at WWC in orlando and they put one in their 150 in the front of the store.they were very impressed with the water movement throughout the tank.with that said im waiting for the smaller one to come out for my 65.The controller looked pretty cool too but i dont think its apex compatible

I wonder if it will shift all the sand in the tank from one side to the other

I was wondering the same..

A lot of people are running the 50w model at a very low speed for that reason from what I read. I might wait for the 35w model to come out hopefully it will be offered at a lower price.

But from the reviews I have seen so far everybody seems to love it

Ive been monitoring the hype, and saw Ians posts on FB. Im itching.... Still thinking, but I might pull the trigger in the next few days. :blown:

I currently have a MP40 on one side, and my jeabo on the other side just died. So incentive is there. However I havent taken it out and cleaned it. :hammer:

Got mine this week. Pretty awesome. I upgraded from 2 jebao WP25s. At first its tough to get the pitch on the output just right but when you do, and you see the det come off your rocks it makes it worth it. The controllers really basic but serves its function. I run the pump on roughly 1/3 power and its a ton of flow in my 75. Also it does kick up some sand but not enough to worry about it.

Can you post a video. Maybe put some food so you can see flow pattern.
