I had the Maxspect G2-400-160w and they were junk . No help with them at all so 1500 dollars sets in my basement.

I believe a local shop here has the same unit on a 120. looks awsome and pops some crazy colors without cutoff lines on either side. Seems dimmer than the MH that was over the tank before....but growth on their corals has been better since it was installed.

I have two over my 125, although i need one more... i really like them. Keeping gbta and lta.. zoas and mushrooms great.. no sps.

I love mine. Although, I just got back into the hobby after about 4 years. I had Power Compacts back then, so these absolutely blow those out of the water. (pun) My corals seem to be opening fully and looking great. My frogspawn practically glows...
