Maxspect xf250 with reinforced magnet kit (still loose)

Ok I'm so lost right now.

1. My glass is almost not quite 1inch think
2. The magnet as good for 1 1/4 inch glass

3. I'm not sure if I'm installing them correctly. See pic
U have left on old magnet and placed the new bar to it then the new on to outside of glass.
4. The issue is that it's not a right hard fit. It's seems to loose to me like if something bumps it it Will come apart
Or
5. I'm over thinking it as I was expecting these things not to move

Note the image of where attached to glass is not where it's going just tried it here as This is not the inche glass

I don't know for sure, Returned my 230. But I would not use the old/original magnet bar inside the tank. Just use the new stronger magnet bar on the out side replacing the old.
Maybe even double up with both, New then old on outside of tank. If that don't work IDK.

Trying to figure how To remove the old magnets. Doest seem simple.

Apparently I was wrong, The new one goes on inside of tank, With the original one on the outside. :facepalm:
