what is the zeovit system and why do people use it? :spin1: thanks!

Zeovit is just another way to keep a reef aquarium
We have a lot of options to keep a reef aquarium. You must have to choose what is best for you, how much do you want to spent and how much time do you have to do a good maintenance

So, people using the system basically are just using zeovit products for their tank (so like Ca, Alk, Mg supplements, etc)? I'll check out the website. Thanks!

there are a TON of different products. lol. Go to the website and look at it all...it's crazy.
short..
you use zeovit stones in a reactor, and use bacterie and fuel to keep a cultur of bacteria to achive ULNS in your system (zeobak, zeofood and zeostart). The product also has a line of additives that is used to improve coral health like sponge power, and coralvitalizer (they are more or less coral foods), with amino acides. Then you have a range of products to fine tune the color, like b-balance, k-balance, pouls xtra, stylo poci glow, zeospur.
many of the additives can be used with out zeovit, but you need low nutriens in your system, before using them. I used to run zeo for around a year, but i got tired of all the work. The system is effective, but also can get expensive fast, now i use a sulfor based filter, along with vsv, and i just a few of the zeo products still. mostly:
amino, stylo poci glow, b-balance, pouls xtra, coral vitalizer and sponge power.
this is just one way out of many ways to run a system.
