Our annual Frag Fest will take place May 12th at 10:00am

The Heights (MAP) â€"œ 8001 Dale Ave â€"œ Richmond Heights, MO 63117

The meeting will be held in the Richmond Heights Community Center. There is ample parking available in front of the building.

Our annual frag event is the perfect time to pick up new goodies or make a little extra room in your tank. All livestock items are welcome â€"œ frags, fish, inverts, macro, whatever live items you have to sell or trade!

We will start a separate thread for everyone to list what they plan to bring. Check back often to see if your dream coral or fish will be making an appearance.

We’re offering multiple ways for everyone to participate. This year’s event will include:

“Free to a good home” table
Have more xenia than you know what to do with? Are your green star polyps taking over? Help a fellow reefer and leave a few freebies on this table. Your neglectorinos are sure to find a great home!

Ticketed Raffle
If you want to sell a frag, but you don’t have a set price in mind, put it on the raffle table. We’ll sell tickets for $1 each and you’ll keep all the money that was entered on your frag.

Traditional Swap-O-Rama
This is where the action is. Want to trade those rics for some zoos? Or maybe you’re looking to trade your Fire Shrimp for a clownfish? This area is for you! All frag-for-frag trades can be wheeled and dealed in the Swap-O-Rama.

Fixed Price Raffle
If you want to sell your frag for a set price, enter it in the fixed price raffle. Interested buyers will take a number. We’ll draw a “winner” who will pay your posted price. If we draw your number but you’re either full of frags or out of cash, just let us know and we’ll draw another number!

50/50 Cash Game
This is one of our favorites! Buy tickets for $1 each. If you we draw your number, half the pot goes to help the club and the other half goes in your pocket!

This is sure to be our best Frag Event yet so you don’t want to miss out!

Admission will be $5.00 for non-members to help cover our costs. As always, there is no admission charge for SEASL members or anyone purchasing a membership at the meeting. Please save your dry goods for the 50/50 auction. We will have some saltwater and extra bags on hand in case of any emergencies, but we ask everyone to double bag their items.

Donations for the raffles are rolling in:

Gateway is donating a $25 Gift Certificate and some ricordea and zoanthids.

Marine Solutions is donating 4 large zoanthid colonies.

Planet Reef is donating a nano cube!! More details coming on this donation.

This is a great start. More to come.

Gateway Aquatics is doing water tests for people who bring their water to the swap. The free testing will include Ammonia, Nitrate, PH and Calcium. They will also bring some frags from Zomania and the store to sell. PLUS they will be giving 20% off all livestock in the store Sat. & Sunday for all Seasl members.

Way to go Chad!
