My wife and I came up for thanksgiving and happened upon a great deal on a house. Its a few years earlier than we planned, but 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, 1/4 acre lot with pool, etc... is tough to turn down for a little over $300,000.
As a result we are considering breaking down the tank and selling everything to help afford the house (not so much from the sale of livestock, but from the lower power bill, etc)
This is kind of just a feeler to test whether or not anyone would be interested in anything that I may be selling:
29 gallon BB display with starboard on the bottom - drilled with a 1" center overflow... i can post pics soon
20 gallon Long sump/fuge not drilled and used to be my display - nothing wrong with the tank other than salt creep that needs to be cleaned off
Mag 3 pump (used when i got it but the impellar has been replaced several times most recently in july)
Quiet one 3000 (bought it new last august and running strong since then)
AquaC Urchin pro - the cup has cosmetic damage and it could use a good cleaning but works great with the quiet one or the mag 3
about 50lbs of LR
clone of Jeffbrigg's RBTA ive had for a while.. id say he has a 6-7" oral disk
lawnmower blenny
perfectly well behaved brazillian flameback angel (took me months to get him and he eats pellet and nori but never nipped any corals - hard, soft, or LPS)
clown pair - still fairly small the F is Ocellaris and is about 2-2.5" and the male is a Rod's Onyx still getting his black between his 2nd and 3rd bars about 2 years old maybe 1.25" long

2 multi colored Florida Rics - these eat like champs and if i had fed them more would be like 100 rics
2 headed torch in need of some TLC - he grew a bunch of heads one time and then got burned by the light during a temp tank move and hasnt recovered since
2.5-3" maxima - partially gold partially blue. was sold to me as an Ultra during the FMAS frag swap last feb
i also have about 30lbs of dry sand that i had in my tank for about 4 months before i took it out... its the southdown type sand from Treeman and its in a large tupperware container just chillin.
im sure that Ive forgotten some stuff that i wanna sell... i know im keeping my nano streams and my light in case i wanna start a small tank once i move, but odds are that I will use them for my fuge once i start a big tank...
Sucks to think about getting out, but i think with work being as busy as it is, and moving to a new place they would be better off in a nice tank - even if it isnt mine...
