Maze Brain Damage

I have had a Maze Brain Coral for about 9 months. It seemed to be doing fine until about a month ago. At that point it developed a large bump on it with huge polyps. I think it might have been some kind of tumor growth. The bump never went down and then when I came home today, the bump had left the skelton of the coral only leaving bone behind it. I think another tumor is beginning to form on the coral. Does anyone have much experience with this type of coral and know what I can do to help it?

Here is my parameters:
Ammonia- 0 ppm
Nitrite- 0 ppm
Nitrate- less than 5 ppm
Phosphate- undetectable with my kit
PH- 8.2
Calcium 420 ppm
Alk- 2.25 meq/l

Lighting schedule 12 hour daylight 1200 watts over 210 gallon
Actinic 320 watts VHO

Here is a pic the other tumor is on the bottom left of the pic.

I am not sure it is getting rather big and the split is happening around the outer dome of the brain. Interesting thought.

If some type of sediment settles on that area it can cause the tissue to recede. From the picture it looks like that area is a bit concave so it might have been possible. I blow the sediment off mine every few days or so. It has happened to me. If you contiue blowing it off with a turkey baster, in time it should come back.
