Seahorses

Only a week ago I learned about the closing of the Secret Lives of Seahorses Exhibit in the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I'm pretty much devastated. That exhibit opened in 2009, and that is what sparked my interest in seahorses! I live only an hour from the aquarium, so, of course, I go about once a month. The first exhibit in the aquarium I go to is always the Secret Lives of Seahorse exhibit. I marvel at all the different seahorses they have, and I really love the sea dragons. I'm just soo bumbed that this is happening. Whenever I go to the aqaurium I always look and examine every seahorse, seeing if they are healthy (which they always were), look for any pregnant males, and even just stare at each tank for several minutes at a time just watching these natural beauties do their thing. No one wants to see their inspiration go away so quickly, but I can't do anything to fix it. So I will make as many trips to the aquarium until I am sick of seahorses (this will never happen
) I hope the next exhibit (Cephalopods) will be just as great, or even better.
