McCosker's Flasher and Royal Gramma sharing QT?

I expect I already know the answer, but would I be able to use a 10-gallon quarantine tank to house a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse and a Royal Gramma Basslet at the same time?

I did successfully have three Pajama Cardinalfish in the tank when I got them a year or so ago, but they were same species.

They should be fine together. I've got both of them in my DT and they get along just fine.

They're both great fish, especially the McCosker's wrasse. Mine eats out of my hands :D

Excellent.

The McCosker's just ran out of stock, though, so it may be another similar wrasse. Maybe a Blue Flasher, Yellow Fin Fairy or a Multicolor Lubbock's Fairy.

Carpenter's are similar; even prettier I think (dorsal filaments). I wouldnt expect to have any issues between them in QT.

Oh, yeah, very nice. Carpenter's not in stock at the moment either, though.

And I've got a vacation coming up in 6 weeks so I need to order in the next day or two in order to have 4 weeks of QT...

Ive had carpenters before and I can tell you that I much prefer my McCosker's. Wait for it to come back in stock. You'll be very glad that you did. IF you signup for the mail notification you'll get the email when they're available. They get shipments in many times a day and could have them at anytime. Just be ready to order as soon as you get the email or they'll be gone.

The McCosker's has better coloration than the Carpenters does. Similar but more vivid colors with the McCoskers.

Thanks for the advice!

I'll have to order tomorrow evening (for a Wednesday delivery) so I'll have enough time to get them in QT for 4 weeks plus another 1 1/2 weeks in the DT before we're away on vacation. I'm definitely going to watch the availability until the last moment.
